Nadia Giosia
Nadia Giosia (born May 12, 1980),〔(Nadia G ). Facebook. Retrieved on 2011-11-16.〕 better known as Nadia G., is a Canadian cooking personality, comedic actress, and singer who transitioned her web cooking series into a TV cooking show.〔(Nadia Giosia of Bitchin' Kitchen has an epicurean edge ). National Post. March 30, 2010〕 She is the host of ''Nadia G's Bitchin' Kitchen'', which has appeared on the Cooking Channel, Food Network Canada and Food Network UK. This show ran for 3 series on television, but started on YouTube as a web-series. Most of these videos have since been removed from YouTube. As of July 14, 2014, she appears in a new series on Cooking Channel called "Bite This With Nadia G".
==Personal life==
Giosia was born in Montreal, Quebec to a family of Italian immigrants. She grew up in the borough St. Leonard, Quebec. She was brought up in a family of very strong women who cooked at home and taught Giosia how to cook. She has had no other professional cooking training. St. Leonard was a conservative place which Giosia resented and rebelled, getting herself many tattoos and shaving part of her head. Besides English, she also speaks French.
Giosia currently lives in L.A.
